Copy and paste the following code to the page of your site where you want to the pétanque webring logo to appear, replacing your id everywhere with your ID number, your name with your name and your email with your email address. This page's URL should match the URL you submitted in the form as your site's URL. It doesn't have to be the start page of your website.

You might use the transparent gif version of the logo instead if you want to place it on another background, although the jpg gives a better result and is smaller. If you wish, you can apply a background to the gif file and save it as a jpg. But don't modify the dimensions or the links won't work anymore. However, if you know what you are doing, you may modify the size of the logo. You would just have to rewrite the imagemap. I will add your site as long as all links on the webring banner point to the correct place, and if it is effectively related to the game of petanque and not owned by Ben Laden or Donald Duck.
If you didn't check "do not display my email address" in the submitting form, your email address will be shown on the "list all sites" page. I'll write it in hex codes to trick email address scanning programs. So, if you are john.smith@somewhere.net, it will read:
john.smith@somewhere.net
and maybe overlook it. It is not a very efficient anti-spam protection but better than nothing. If you are especially concerned about privacy, simply check that box and your email address will not be displayed.
I haven't set up a user logon facility to the webring yet. So if you wish to leave the webring or change some information regarding your site, just email me, specifying your ID and the name of your site, and I will update the database.
